The campaign to elect Daniel Allain is committed to respecting your privacy. The purpose of this privacy policy is to explain how we handle personal information to ensure its confidentiality, security and accuracy.
During the course of the PCNB Leadership campaign we may obtain personal information in a few different ways.
Some information is provided to us directly by PCNB. This will in all likelihood include a Membership List, and a List of Electors – which includes the names and addresses of eligible voters.
We will also collect information through campaign events and other voter outreach activities, such as door-to-door canvassing, voter contact phone calls, emails and text messages.
You may also provide us with information when you visit our website and complete a subscription form, answer a poll question or petition, make a donation, or email us a question or feedback.
Your information could also be provided to us by a volunteer, campaign organizer or friend who thinks you might be interested in learning more about our campaign.
The information we collect may include:
Contact and identification information, such as your name, address, telephone numbers, e-mail address and social media contacts.
Donation information such as date and amount of your donation.
Financial information to process your donation e.g. payment methods and preferences, billing and banking information (e.g. credit card number and expiry date).
Other information you share with us about issues you care about.
We will use your personal information to:
Communicate with you about the campaign to elect Daniel Allain.
Provide you with information related to supporting the campaign, attending upcoming events, becoming a Supporting Contributor or Elector, voting by mail, and attending the Convention.
Solicit and process donations.
We will not, without your consent, use your personal information for any purpose other than as described in this privacy policy, except where permitted or required by applicable legislation.
Your personal information may be shared or discussed with the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick, to review and ensure that you are properly registered and accounted for on the Membership roll, Electors List, and/or list of Supporting Contributors.
Your information may also be shared with third party providers to perform tasks on behalf of the campaign, such as processing your donation, making phone calls, providing data hosting, mailing, or analytics services and providing technical services to our website.
When information is shared with third parties for these purposes, we will take all reasonable measures to safeguard your personal information.
We will not sell personal information under any circumstance.
